Nepal Rastra Bank lenient in borrowing margin from foreign individuals and institutions; Nepalese can borrow upto $ 5 lakh and INR 5 crore
Nepal Rastra Bank has shown flexibility in the total amount of loans that can be obtained from foreign nationals and institutions. As per the semi-annual review of monitory policy released by central Bank, one can avail credit of upto Rs 5 lakh USD and upto INR 5 crore after obtaining prior permission from NRB.
This leniency in foreign borrowing is expected to ease the cash flow to some extent in domestic market.
