Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has decided to keep the prices of petroleum products unchanged in the domestic market despite a recent rise in international fuel prices.

Issuing a statement today, the state-owned corporation said the decision was taken to ease the financial burden on consumers and shield them from the immediate impact of global price fluctuations.

According to the corporation, prices in the international market have increased notably, with petrol becoming costlier by Rs 2.09 per litre, diesel by Rs 2.47 per litre, and liquefied petroleum gas (cooking gas) by Rs 18.58 per cylinder.

NOC stated that it will continue to monitor international price trends and make necessary adjustments in the future based on market conditions and consumer interest.
