NAV of Citizen Mutual Fund-1 meagerly rises to Rs 10.23; Net profit decreases to Rs 15.02 lakh from Rs 1.77 crore

Citizen Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7 years closed-end mutual fund has published its monthly report for the month of Shrawan, 2075.

The mutual fund has reported meager increase in Net Assets Value (NAV) of Rs 10.23 from Rs 10.22. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 82 crore has invested Rs 16.86 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 18.32 lakh in primary issues, right shares and bonus shares.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Citizen Mutual Fund-1 has invested the highest in 27,571 units promoter shares of Nabil Bank Limited (NABILP) worth Rs 2.009 crore.

The mutual fund is the first mutual fund of CBIL Capital. The scheme is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

It has reported net profit of Rs 15.02 lakh which was Rs 1.77 crore in the last month.
