From Tragedy to Triumph: Parbati Karki Wins Rs. 1 Crore in Ncell's Sadhain ON Crorepati Campaign

Parbati Karki, a resilient woman from Dhading’s Gangajamuna Rural Municipality, has been declared the bumper prize winner of Rs. 1 Crore under Ncell’s ‘Sadhain ON Crorepati’ campaign. Karki, a long-time Ncell customer and community health volunteer, won the life-changing prize after purchasing a Rs. 99 service pack. Her win is especially significant given her hardships; she lost her infant son and home in the 2015 earthquake, struggled with debt, and her husband had to work abroad due to financial constraints.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Karki shared that the prize feels like a miracle and a reward for her perseverance. She plans to repay debts, bring her husband back from Bahrain, and start a business in Nepal to build a stable future for their family. The campaign, which ran from June 15 to July 16, also awarded 50 other participants with Rs. 100,000 weekly. Ncell expressed pride in fulfilling its promise and supporting Karki’s inspiring journey.
