Nabil Equity Fund's NAV stands at Rs 9.13; Highest investment made in Citizen Investment Trust

Nabil Equity Fund (NEF), a closed-end seven years mutual fund scheme managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited has posted increase in its Net Asset Value by Rs 0.44 per unit. 

According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV increased to Rs 9.13 at the end of Baisakh, 2075 from Rs 8.69 posted in Chaitra, 2074.

The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme, which began with a total fund of Rs 1.25 arba, has investment of Rs 67.87 crore in 55 listed companies’ shares and Rs 12.50 crore in fixed deposits as of Baisakh end. It has invested Rs 5 crore in unlisted debentures as well.

The fund reported a net loss of Rs 10.43 crore in Baisakh from net loss of Rs 19.58 crore last month. 

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Nabil Equity Fund has invested the highest amount in the 18,380 unit shares worth Rs 4.84 crore of Citizen Investment Trust.
