Nabil Equity Fund records meager growth in NAV; NAV stands at Rs 8.71 for the month of Bhadra

Nabil Equity Fund (NEF), a closed-end seven years mutual fund scheme managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited has posted slight increase in its Net Asset Value by Rs 0.14 per unit.

According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV increased to Rs 8.71 at the end of Bhadra, 2075 from Rs 8.57 posted in previous month.

The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme, which began with a total fund of Rs 1.25 arba, has investment of Rs 66.89 crore in 56 listed companies’ shares and Rs 16.88 crore in fixed deposits as of Bhadra end.

The fund reported a net profit of Rs 57.09 lakh in Bhadra from net loss of Rs 1.07 crore last month.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Nabil Equity Fund has invested the highest amount in the 22,423 unit shares worth Rs 5.47 crore of Citizen Investment Trust.
