Market rises by 4.80 points with turnover of Rs 67.18 crore

The benchmark capital market index, Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE), has closed positively by 4.80 points or 0.31% to close at 1559.49 points today.
NEPSE index is showing sideways movement. Index opened at 1554.90 points today and the local bourse was seen fluctuating throughout the day.
The total turnover of the day was around Rs. 67.18 crore today, in which 15.77 lakh unit shares were traded through 5,184 transactions.
743,514 units shares of Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Shares (PRVUPO) and 54,714 unit shares of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) were traded the most today.
The best performer for the day were United Finance Limited (UFL) and Everest Bank Limited (EBL), whereas, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited (SKDBL) was the biggest loser today.
Sensitive and float index went up by 1.15and 0.38 points respectively.
Except Insurance sub-group, all sub- groups landed in green today. Insurance group declined by double digit.
