Long awaited Monetary policy to be unveiled today; Venue Hotel Radission at 2 PM

Monetary policy for the fiscal year 2073/74 will be released by Nepal Rastra bank (NRB)  today (Ashadh 30). The program will be held at Hotel Radission at 2 PM. After the huge fiscal budget brought by the government, all eyes are set on the monetary policy. The BoD meeting of NRB held today morning has finalized monetary policy. Trilochan Pangeni, Spokersperson of Nepal Rastra Bank said, “ Monetary policy will be released today at Hotel Radission at 2 PM.” Monetary policy  set to introduce new instruments to manage liquidity.Through monetary policy, Nepal Rastra Bank will also be increasing the limit of the loan in agriculture and energy sector. The loan limited will be extended to 20% from 12% at present. Due to the earthquake the building and hall of Nepal Rastra Bank has been damaged. Last year too monetary policy was unveiled in Hotel Radission.
