Life Insurance sector lost the most this week; number of transaction fall by 17.35%; Weekly Wrap Up of the NEPSE index

NEPSE index movement:

The Index opened at 1213.06 points and closed at 1196.41 points with the loss of 16.65 points (1.39%). On Sunday the index was down by 3.44 points, on Monday index lost 6.49 points, on Tuesday index gain 4.87 points, on Wednesday index continues its fall thus, lost 10.25 points and on Thursday index was down by 1.34 points.

Candlestick pattern:

Small sized and small body candlestick were formed in 4 trading days. On Wednesday, long black candled was made with the close below psychological level 1200.

Exponential Moving Average:

We have used EMA's of 5 days' time period (blue line), 20 days' time period (red line). At present, NEPSE Index is below both 5 days EMA and 20 days EMA. Value below moving average usually is bearish signal. Dead cross signal generated by moving average on 29th of July,2019 is still valid.

Moving Average Convergence and Divergence:

MACD line (blue) and the signal line (red line) are in negative zone. Histogram is also in negative zone which shows market could fall further in upcoming days.

Fibonacci retracement method:

Nepse Index closed at 1196.41 this week. 1193 is 61.8% Fibonacci retracement from low of 1098 to high of 1349.So, market may hover around 1190 to 1200 this week.
