NEPSE Index Soars By 2.30% to Close at 2,877.03 Level ; All Sector Closes at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 64.69 points (2.30%) to settle at 2,877.03. This follows a 13.51 point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2814.25, touching an intraday high of 2,882.86, while the lowest point was 2,814.24. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 21.22 Arba, with 56,920,608 shares traded across 342 companies through 191,251 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 48.76 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 16.62 Kharba.


Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 67.16 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 474.00


Four Companies Hit Upper Circuit with 10.00% each.


Meanwhile, Nepal Life Samriddhi Lagani Yojana (NSY) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.12%.


Among sectors, the Development Bank Index registered the highest gain, gaining 3.95%, while the Trading Index saw the least gain at 0.14%.
