Laxmi Value Fund and Laxmi Equity Fund reports increase in NAV to Rs 11.32 and Rs 9.22 respectively

Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1), a close end 5 years mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 11.32 NAV for the month of Baisakh while it was Rs 10.88 for the previous month. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 50 crore, has invested Rs 33.67 crore in the shares of 39 listed companies. Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Value Fund-1 has bought 40,933 units of shares of Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBL) worth Rs 99.46 Lakh. Mutual fund has set aside Rs 9 crore as fixed deposit and Rs 14.20 crore as bank balance. It has reported net loss of Rs 2.32 crore which was Rs 4.55 crore in the last month.
Similarly, Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a close-end 7 years equity oriented mutual fund scheme also managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 9.22 as its NAV for the month of Baisakh which has increased from Rs 8.82 for the previous month. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 1.25 arba has invested Rs 67.93 crore in listed shares and Rs 14.18 lakh in public issues. The scheme has invested in 11.55 lakh unit shares of 54 listed companies as of Baisakh end. Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Equity Fund has bought 61,574 units of shares of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) worth Rs 1.32 crore It has reported net loss of Rs 9.52 crore which was Rs 14.56 crore in the previous month.
