Laxmi Value Fund 1 and Laxmi Equity Fund show slight improvements in NAV; See their performance for month of Falgun

Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1), a closed-end 5 years mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 10.90 NAV for the month of Falgun while it was Rs 10.71 for the previous month.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 50 crore, has invested Rs 32.18 crore in the shares of 36 listed companies.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Value Fund-1 has bought 45,157 units Promoter shares of the Nabil Bank Limited worth Rs 3.08 crore.

Mutual fund has Rs 5 crore as fixed deposit and Rs 16.72 crore as bank balance. It has reported net loss of Rs 9.8 crore till Falgun which was Rs 10.74 crore till the end of Magh month.

Similarly, Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a closed-end 7 years equity oriented mutual fund scheme also managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 8.65 as its NAV for the month of Falgun which has increased from Rs 8.55 in the previous month.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 1.25 arba has invested Rs 82.24 crore in listed shares of 69 different companies.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Equity Fund has made highest investment in 61, 075 units shares of Nepal Telecom (NTC) worth Rs 4.18 crore.

It has reported net loss of Rs 21.74 crore till Falgun which was Rs 23.06 crore in the previous month.
