Last day to clinch 13.52% bonus shares of Premier Insurance; LTP at Rs 978

Today is the last day to clinch dividend of Premier Insurance Company Limited (PIC). PIC had announced 13.52% bonus shares from the net profit of Rs 18.15 crore it had earned in the FY 2073/74. The book closure date has been set from Chaitra 8 to Chaitra 26, 2074. Thus, only those shareholders owning their shares till today, i.e. one day ahead of the book closure date are eligible for bonus shares and to participate in the AGM. PIC will be holding its 24^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Chaitra 26, 2074. The AGM is going to be held at Naxal Banquet, Kathmandu at 10:00 AM. Its paid up capital will reach to Rs 58.41 crore after adjustment of bonus shares from existing Rs 51.44 crore (including FPO shares). To meet the capital requirement of Rs 1 arba as directed by Insurance Board, it should further hike its capital by Rs 41.59 crore (around 94%). Its LTP stood at Rs 978 as of last trading day.
