Investor pressure group releases a notice on 6th day of strike; Demands resignation of high level officials of 7 organization

The relay hunger strike started by the general investors has entered 6th day today. The group headed by Hari Dhakal, has proposed 13 points demands, with main demand of resignation of Finance Minister Dr. Yobaraj Khatiwada.

However, as no hearing or negotiation has happened yet, the group has published a notice today. The notice says, since they haven't been given any responses they have notified that they will be going on "fast-until-death" strike from Poush 01, 2075. The notice also demands the resignation of following personnel:

Finance Minister, Dr. Yubraj Khatiwada

Chairman of SEBON, Rewat Bahadur Karki

Executive Director of SEBON, Niraj Giri

Governor of NRB, Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal

Chairman of Beema Samiti, Dr. Chiranjibi Chapagai

Chairman of NEPSE, Laxman Neupane

CEO of NEPSE, Chandra Singh Saud

The notice also says that the strike is being supported by Nepal Communist Party, Nepali Congress, Ra.Ja.Pa, Nepali Congree B.P., Ra.Pra.Pa., Ra. Pra. Pa Nationalist along with Investors association, committee and general public. Similarly, investors outside the valley from Chitwan, Butwal, Nepaljung and Biratnagar have aslo started the strike.
