Huaxin Cement Company continues its construction works despite lockdown

Despite the lockdown order imposed by the government to prevent the spread of coranavirus infection in the country, Huaxin Cement Company has continued its development works.

The company established in Chinese investment has maintained its construction activities undisrupted. The Company has said that its construction activities are ongoing by maintaining social distancing among the workers as per the directive of the government. So far, around 60 per cent of the physical setups of the company were prepared.

The company is building its infrastructure at Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality of Dhading district with a target to produce 3,000 metric tonnes of cement per day.

Internal Affairs and Project Development Manager of the Industry, Dilliraj Pokharel, said that there are almost 600 workers deployed in the site and they undergo health tests every day.

An arrangement has been made to take nearby hospital and other health institutions if the workers develop any health related problems.
