Governor Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari and his Rastra Bank team members participate in virtual SAARC Finance Group; shares about NRB’s initiatives to support COVID hit economy of Nepal

Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari along with Deputy Governors and other officials of Nepal Rastra Bank has represented Nepal in the virtual event SAARC Finance Group organized by the Reserve Bank of India on Nov 4, 2020.

The event saw participation from Governors, DY Governors, and other senior officials from all the central banks in the SAARC region, as per the media statement.

Similar to his counterparts from other south Asian nations, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Adhikari also highlighted the necessary steps the central bank in Nepal has initiated to deal with the financial crises brought about by the COVID pandemic, as per the media statement.
