Government announces budget of Rs 17.93 Kharba for fiscal year 2079/80 (Full Budget Speech and Aarthik Bidheyak)

The government has released a budget of Rs 17.93 Kharba for the fiscal year 2079/80.

Releasing the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, Minister for Finance Janardan Sharma allocated Rs 7.53 Kharba (42%) in recurrent expenditure, Rs 3.80 Kharba (21.2%) in capital expenditure, Rs 2.30 Kharba (12.8%) in financial management and Rs 4.29 Kharba (24%) allocated under the fiscal transfer to the Province and Local Levels.

Minister Sharma said that a total of Rs 12.40 Kharba would be collected from the tax revenue, Rs 55.46 Arba would be covered from foreign aid, Rs 2.42 Kharba from Foreign loans, and Rs 2.56 Kharba from the internal loans.

For the current fiscal year, the government had announced a budget of Rs 1647.57 billion.
