Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 14,400 per Tola, Silver Follows Suit with 265 Rupees Gain
Gold and silver prices in Nepal have climbed, continuing a strong upward trend in the domestic bullion market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs. 14,400 per tola on Wednesday to reach an all-time high of Rs. 3,04,700 per tola.
The surge reached its peak on January 29, 2026, with fine gold reaching an all-time high of Rs. 3,39,300 per tola.
Tejabi gold also recorded a sharp rise, increasing by Rs. 14,400 per tola to Rs. 3,04,000 from the earlier Rs. 289,600 per tola.
Silver followed the upward momentum as well, gaining Rs. 265 per tola to settle at a new peak of Rs. 5,600 per tola, compared to its earlier price of Rs. 5,335 per tola.
