Gold Price Hits All-Time High in Nepal, Crosses Rs 3 Lakh per Tola

Gold and silver prices in Nepal have climbed to unprecedented levels, continuing the strong upward trend in the domestic bullion market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold surged by Rs 9,200 per tola on Friday, pushing it past the Rs 3 lakh mark for the first time to an all-time high of Rs 301,400 per tola.

The bullish momentum in the gold market has remained firm in recent weeks. Fine gold had previously touched a high of Rs 295,100 per tola on January 21, 2026, before breaking its own record again.

Tejabi gold also saw a sharp rise, increasing by Rs 9,200 per tola to reach Rs 300,700 per tola, up from the earlier rate of Rs 291,500 per tola.

Silver mirrored the upward movement, gaining Rs 320 per tola to settle at a new record high of Rs 6,190 per tola, compared to its previous price of Rs 5,870 per tola.
