Gold Climbs Over Rs. 90,000 Price Barrier for the First Time in Exactly Two Months

The price of gold has climbed above Rs. 90,000 per tola after exactly two months.

According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 90,500 per tola. Meanwhile, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 90,000 per tola. Yesterday, the respective types were maintained at Rs. 89,800 per tola and Rs. 89,350 per tola.

The last time the price of gold was near this high, above the Rs. 90,000 per tola barrier was way back, on February 16. Fine gold traded at Rs. 90,900 per tola and tejabi gold traded at Rs. 90,400 that day.

On the sideline, silver is being traded today at Rs. 1,300 per tola, compared to yesterday's rate of Rs. 1,290 per tola.
