Global IME Samunnat Scheme's NAV drops to Rs 8.01; Investment worth Rs 6.51 crore made in NMB Bank

Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1), a closed-end 7 years mutual fund scheme managed by Global IME Capital Limited, has reported slight decrease in its Net Asset Value (NAV).

As per the financial report published yesterday, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV decreases to Rs. 8.01 in Mangsir end from Rs 8.33 in Kartik end. The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs 1 arba, has invested Rs. 68.88 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 2.38 crore in non-listed shares as on Mangsir end. Similarly, it has Rs 5 crore in fixed deposits.

The fund has reported net loss of Rs 26.25 crore in the month of Mangsir which is more than the net loss of Rs 22.99 crore in the month of Kartik.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Global IME Samunnat Fund has its highest investment in 1,76,047 unit shares in NMB Bank Limited (NMB) worth Rs 6.59 crore.
