Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 NAV further declines to Rs 8.79 in Chaitra end; reports loss of Rs 6.79 crore.

Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1), a closed-end 7 years mutual fund scheme managed by Global IME Capital Limited, has reported further reduction in its Net Asset Value (NAV).

As per the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV declined to Rs. 8.79 in Chaitra end from Rs 8.55 in Falgun end. The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs 1 arba, has invested Rs. 58.89 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 6.31 crore in non-listed shares as on Chaitra end. The scheme has invested in 94 listed companies. Similarly, it has Rs 10 crore in fixed deposits and Rs 1.04 crore as bank balance.

The fund has reported net loss of Rs 6.79 crore in the month of Chaitra which is higher than the net loss of Rs 6.55 crore in the month of Falgun.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Global IME Samunnat Fund has its highest investment in Nabil Bank Promoter Shares (NABILP) worth Rs 3.76 crore.
