Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 NAV decreases to Rs 8.80 in Jestha end; reports loss of Rs 6.45 crore

Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1), a closed-end 7 years mutual fund scheme managed by Global IME Capital Limited, has reported decreased in its Net Asset Value (NAV).

As per the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV decreases to Rs. 8.80 in Jestha end from Rs 9.32 in Baisakh end. The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs 1 arba, has invested Rs. 70.44 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 3.26 crore in non-listed shares as on Jestha end. Similarly, it has Rs 10 crore in fixed deposits and Rs 2.95 crore as bank balance.

The fund has reported net loss of Rs 6.45 crore in the month of Jestha which is more than the net loss of Rs 1.29 crore in the month of Baisakh.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Global IME Samunnat Fund has its highest investment in National Life insurance Company Limited (NLICL) worth Rs 4.76 crore.
