Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) has partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to receive advisory services aimed at enhancing its risk management framework and operational systems.

These services include establishing robust risk control systems, developing credit approval scoring models, implementing stress testing models, and providing training for staff.

Additionally, the IFC will assist the bank in addressing climate finance and gender finance issues, offering insights into climate finance concepts and promoting gender inclusion by supporting women entrepreneurs.

These advisory services are expected to improve the bank's information systems, decision-making processes, and credit assessment tools to meet international standards.

IFC will deploy a team of global experts to deliver these services both virtually and through on-site visits in Nepal. This partnership builds on IFC's successful track record of providing similar services to banks in other countries like Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and India.
