General Insurance Company earns Rs 2.09 crore profit in 2 months; Net worth stands at Rs 102.85

Recently established General Insurance Company Nepal Limited has published its unaudited report for the fourth quarter of the FY 2074/75.
As per the report published today, the insurance company recorded net profit of Rs 2.09 crore in the review period. The company’s net premium amounted to Rs 11.71 lakhs and reinsurance premium amounted to Rs 4.47 lakhs. Majority of the profit was derived from the income from investments.
The company’s paid up capital stands at Rs 70 crore with Rs 94.45 lakh as reserve. Similarly, the non-life insurance company has Rs 1.04 crore as insurance fund.
The company’s Earning per share stands at Rs 3 and net worth per share at Rs 102.85.
General Insurance Company will be floating IPO worth Rs 30 crore in the near future.
