Domestic Gold and Silver Prices Surge

The prices of gold and silver have risen in Nepal’s domestic market today.

Compared to last Friday, gold prices increased by Rs 3,500 per tola (11.66 grammes), while silver prices rose by Rs 30 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

Today, the price of hallmark gold is set at Rs 316,900 per tola, while silver is trading at Rs 5,475 per tola. On Friday, one tola of gold had been traded at Rs 313,400, and silver at Rs 5,445 per tola.

In the international market, gold is currently trading at USD 5,170 per ounce, and silver at USD 85 per ounce, according to global media reports.
