Citizen Mutual Fund reports rise in profit for the month of Baisakh; NAV stands at Rs 10.13

Citizen Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7 years close ended mutual fund has published its monthly report for the month of Baisakh.

The mutual fund is the first mutual fund of CBIL Capital. The fund is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

The mutual fund has reported increase in Net Assets Value (NAV) of Rs 10.13 from Rs 10.06. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 82 crore has invested Rs 2.70 crore in the shares of listed companies and 6.51 lakh on not listed companies.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Citizen Mutual Fund-1 has bought 6,950 units shares of promoter shares of Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIB), along with the highest amount invested is Rs 55.80 lakh. 

It has reported net profit of Rs 1.08 crore which was Rs 51.41 lakh in the last month.
