Chilime Hydro & Nepal Grameen Bikas Bank signs deal with CDSC; 131companies' shares dematerialized

Chilime Hydropower Co. Ltd. (CHCL) and Nepal Grameen Bikas Bank Ltd. (NGBBL) have reached an agreement with CDS and Clearing Ltd (CDSC) to dematerialize their share. Now the total number of companies in agreement with CDSC to dematerialize their respective shares has reached 131.
Mr. Dev Prakash Gupta, CEO of CDSC and Mr. Ram Gopal Shiwakoti, CEO of CHCL, signed an agreement to deamaterialize 2,72,56,320 units ordinary shares of CHCL.
Similarly, Mr. Gupta and Mr. Dharma Raj Pandey, CEO of NGBBL, signed an agreement to dematerialize 9,96,031 units of ordinary and 45,78,969 units of promoter shares of NGBBL.
After Magh 01, 2072, the trading of shares can only take place in dematerialized form. The trading of shares of listed companies who fail to dematerialize their shares by the deadline will be halted.
