Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower (BNHC) Makes Secondary Market Debut, Buyers Demand But Shareholders Hold

Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) has made its debut in the secondary market today. The shares of the company opened today at Rs. 246.7.

The company had issued 8,00,000 units worth Rs 8 crore as Initial Public Offering to the general public from (Ashwin 11-14, 2078). This, along with the 8,00,000 unit shares issued to the locals and 28,00,000 shares to promoters were then listed in NEPSE.

While the shares were tradable from yesterday's trading session itself, there were no sellers. Today as well, the shares opened at Rs. 246.7 after a seller sold 10 shares. Another 10 shares were then sold at the same rate. NEPSE's TMS shows that the last traded time was 10: 45, so the two transactions must have happened in the pre-open session.

While writing this update, there are virtually no sellers seen on the market depth. Meanwhile, 1,127 buy orders have demanded 1,96,848 total shares at Rs. 251.6 per share.
