Breaking Records: Gold and Silver Prices Soar to All-Time Highs

Gold and silver prices in Nepal have surged to unprecedented levels, continuing the strong upward momentum in the domestic bullion market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold jumped by Rs 2,400 per tola on Sunday, reaching an all-time high of Rs 303,800 per tola.

Fine gold had previously hit Rs 301,400 per tola on January 23, 2026, before surpassing its own record.

Tejabi gold also saw a significant increase, rising by Rs 2,400 per tola to reach Rs 303,100 per tola, up from Rs 300,700 per tola earlier.

Silver followed the upward trend, gaining Rs 290 per tola to settle at a new record high of Rs 6,480 per tola, compared to its previous rate.
