Barun Hydropower net profit in Q3 rises to Rs 1.67 crore; EPS stands at Rs 6.57

Barun Hydropower Company Limited (BARUN) has posted net profit of Rs 1.67 crore in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75.

According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has risen to Rs 1.67 crore in the third quarter of fiscal year 2074/75 from a loss of Rs 59.08 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.

BARUN made regular income from power sales of Rs 6.61 crore by the end of the third quarter rising from Rs 1.05 crore in the corresponding quarter..

Its reserve fund amounts to Rs 1.78 crore from negative Rs 3.63 crore. After 100% right shares it had announced, its paid up capital will reach to Rs 51.03 crore from existing 25.51 crore (including 5% bonus from the net profit of FY 2073/74).

Its earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs 6.57 (annualized EPS = Rs 8.76), net worth per share is at Rs 106.98 and P/E ratio at 28.62 times.
