AHPC to offer 11% cash dividend to its shareholders; LTP stood at Rs 292

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) has proposed 11 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the profit it’s earned during the last fiscal year 2071/72.On August 4, a meeting held among the company’s Board of Directors (BOD) had decided to distribute 11% cash dividend to its shareholders which subject to the approval of its upcoming AGM.
Last year, AHPC had distributed 10 percent bonus share to the shareholders.
Arun Valley Hydropower had reported a net profit rise of 3.95 percent in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2071/72.
The Hydropower Company has made investment of Rs 39.34 crore. Its share Capital remains at Rs 77.05 crore.
AHPC is the 3 MW hydropower project. The projects under AHPC are Piluwakhola Hydropower Project (3MW), Ridikhola hydropower (2.4 MW), Kabeli-B1 Hydropower (25MW), Upper Piluwakhola Hydropower - (11MW), Lower Phemekhola Small Hydropower (3.5 MW), Upper Khimtikhola Small Hydropower Project (12MW) and Arun Kabeli Hydropower Project (25 MW) .
Its last traded price stood at Rs 292 at NEPSE on August 20.
