After SEBON Office, Share Investors Are Besieging NRB To Demand 19-Point Capital Market Reform

Ten different investor groups have stated that they will continue to protest until the 19-point demand for Capital Market Reform is met. The association announced its resolve to continue protesting until concrete results are achieved in a statement released on Jestha 30.

The Capital Market Reform Struggle Committee, led by Tilak Koirala, has been protesting in support of the 19-point demand since Jestha 23. The struggle committee presented their demands to all district government offices on Jestha 30. Koirala had decided to go on a hunger strike at the Securities Board in Khumaltar, Lalitpur, starting from Ashad 1, 2079, in response to the capital market issue. His fast has been going on for the last five days. Investors have been protesting daily in support of Koirala.

Today at 1 p.m. the share investors are going to besiege Nepal Rastra Bank. Investors are planning an exhibition from Gahana Pokhari to the Central Bank. They want to protest outside the central bank in a peaceful manner.
