Womi Laghubitta announces book closure for its upcoming 100% right share on Ashad 27; shareholders holding shares till Ashadh 26 are eligible

Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (WOMI) is going to close the books on Ashadh 27, 2076 for the purpose of right shares.

The Special General Meeting held on Falgun 6, 2075 had decided to issue 1:1 right share to the existing shareholders. For this purpose, BOD meeting today decided to close the shareholders book on Ashadh 27.

Those shareholders who hold the shares till Ashadh 26 (last trading day before book closure) are eligible to apply right shares.

Likewise, WOMI and Nagarik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited are in the verge of merger. NRB has already given in-principle approval for the merger on Baisakh 24, 2076.

Previously NRB denied approval for right shares forcing WOMI for merger. After the MOU between WOMI and Nagarik on 24 Falgun 2075, NRB gave permission for right share with intention to make institution stronger.

Currently WOMI has paid-up capital of NRS 10.01 crore. WOMI recorded Rs 4.48 crore net profit for 3rd quarter of FY 2075/76.  Its net worth per share stands at Rs 193.13 per share. Similarly EPS and P/E ratio for the company was Rs 59.16 and Rs 19.07 times respectively.

According to 3rd quarter of current fiscal year, the paid-up capital for Nagarik stood at NRS 7 crore.
