With a 0.95% Uptick, NEPSE Settles at 2,731.80 Level; NRN Tops Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 25.89 points (0.95%) to settle at 2,731.80. This follows a 22.04-point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,709.09, touching an intraday high of 2,743.09, while the lowest point was 2,706.89. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.68 Arba, with 26,470,840 shares traded across 312 companies through 88,615 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.51 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.49 Kharba.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 57.05 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 2,302. 

Mai Khola Hydropower Limited (MKHL) led the gainers' list with an 8.15% gain each.

Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.92%.

Among sectors, the Banking Index sector registered the highest gain, gaining 3.02%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 0.53%.
