Machhapuchchhre Bank Partners with United Remit to Expand Remittance Services

Machhapuchchhre Bank has signed an agreement with United Remit, promoted by CG Group, to make remittance services to Nepal easier and more accessible.

Under the agreement, Nepal-bound remittances sent through MoneyGram and TML Remittance from countries including the UK, Japan and South Korea can be collected from the bank’s 156 branches, branchless banking outlets and extension counters across the country.

The agreement was signed by Sudan Singh Silwal, Assistant General Manager of United Remit, and Madhav Subedi, Head of Digital Banking at Machhapuchchhre Bank.

The bank currently serves more than 1.8 million customers through 156 branches, 88 branchless banking outlets, 11 extension counters and 194 ATMs.
