Sanima Bank Limited (SANIMA) has reported 26.81 percent increase in profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75.
As per the unaudited report for the first quarter published today, the bank’s net profit has increased to Rs 34.44 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2074/75, from Rs 27.16 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74. The bank has posted an operating profit of Rs 49.84 crore.
It has collected Rs 64.13 arba in deposit in the first quarter and extended a total of Rs 57.28 arba in loans. In the corresponding quarter of fiscal year 2073/74, the bank deposits stood at Rs 48.69 arba and loan & advances at 51.26 arba.
Its net interest income surged to Rs 59.45 crore in Q4 up from Rs 53.29 crore in the corresponding quarter. Its non-performing loan (NPL) has increased to 0.14 % in corresponding quarter compared to 0.05% in the current quarter.
Its paid up capital remains at Rs 8.00 arba in Q1 and its reserve and surplus has grown to Rs 1.40 arba in Q1 up from Rs 1.01 arba in last quarter, a rise of 38.24 percent.
Recently, the bank has distributed 16 percent stock dividend from the profits it earned in the fiscal year 2073/74.
The bank’s annualized Earning Per Share (EPS) stands at Rs 17.22 , net worth per share is valued at Rs 117.55 and P/E ratio at 20.76 times.
