The broker commission has been reduced by 40%. Here the opinion of our stakeholders regarding the impact of the same in the trading at Nepse. Rajendra Maharjan Investor The decline in broker commission will be very beneficial for the short term investors. The trading in the stock market will hike and I think the turnover will be double of that of the present. It will have a slight positive impact in the stock market, but actually the market will be displaying the impact of fourth quarter report of the listed companies. Tsewang Gurung Investor Mostly short term investors will benefit from it. Trading at Nepse will increase, which will lead to an increment in the total turnover.  Securities Board of Nepal has taken a good step by reducing the broker commission. It would be more beneficial for secondary market if we have more broker houses and clearing banks. Dharma Raj Sapkota Swornalaxmi Securities Private Limited  (Broker Number 37) There will be an increment in turnover, but in my opinion the broker commission is not directly related to the turnover. I think its demand and supply that affects the turnover more than the broker commission, but now short term investors will do more trading which will bring an increment in turnover.
