NEPSE index gained 5.78 points or 0.62 percent than the last week closing (Thursday) of 924.6 level to settle at 930.38 mark.

Similarly Sensitive and Float also recorded surge of 1.29 and 0.28 points to settle at 199 and 66.34 levels than last week.

The benchmark index witnessed plunge of 6.63 points on the very first day of this week. However the local bourse there after gained meager points continually for remaining 4 trading days.

Minimum and Maximum NEPSE index of the week was 917.97 and 930.38 levels respectively.

Trading in the secondary market this week was normal where the total turnover of the week stood at Rs 1,057.23 million.

Average turnover of this week stood at Rs 211.44 million.

While among the sub-indices, Insurance Index gained maximum by 97.17 points or 2.5 percent to close at 3903.21 level compared to last week.

Banking (816.4) and Others (722.53) index gained meager 3.92 and 4.7 points respectively compared to last week. HydroPower (2101.56) and Finance index (519.08) crawled up by 1.49 and 1.94 points respectively than last week.
