Weekly Wrap-Up (Review Period July 5 to July 9 -2015-)

This week the benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange gained overall 4.47 points or 0.48 percent to close at 943.43 level compared to last week closing of 938.96 mark index.

NEPSE index fell few points (0.94 and 1.26 points) on the first 2 trading days of this week.

However the local bourse witnessed surge of 4.6 points, 1.8 point and 0.27 point on remaining 3 trading days of this week.

The lowest and highest of this week were 936.76 level (Monday) and 943.43 level (Thursday) respectively.

Nepse index altogether loosed 2.2 points whereas gained 6.67 point within this week.

The total turnover of this week stood at Rs 1,273 million which included Rs 113.58 million of manual turnover.

The average turnover of the week was of Rs 254.67 million whereas the lowest and highest turnover of the week was of Rs 174.19 million (Sunday) and Rs 362.58 million (Friday) respectively.

Among the sub-indices, Banking (820.96), Development (782.95) and Manufacturing (1590.68) gained maximum of 5.44 points, 12.92 points and 15.9 points respectively.

HydroPower (2107.77) and Hotels (1854.82) recorded surge of 15.28 points and 2.02 points respectively.

Finance and Insurance landed in red this week recording plunge of 0.82 and 27.53 points respectively compares to last week.
