Weather Update News: Partly to Generally Cloudy Nationwide with Thunderstorms and Rainfall Expected

Today's Forecast:

Partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected throughout the country today. There will be light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi Province and the hilly regions of the rest of the country. Additionally, there may be traces to light rain in a few parts of the terai regions of the rest of the country. Furthermore, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province.

Tonight's Forecast:

The country will experience partly to generally cloudy conditions during the night. There is a likelihood of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province. Additionally, a few places in the rest of the country might also experience light to moderate rainfall. Moreover, there is a chance of heavy rainfall at one or two places in Gandaki Province and Sudur Pashchim Province.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that the Monsoon Trough axis is currently situated to the south of its average position. As a result, the country is under the influence of monsoon winds, leading to the observed weather patterns.
