Today:

Partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected throughout the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in certain areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province. Moreover, there are chances of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two places of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.

Tonight:

The weather is anticipated to remain partly to generally cloudy across the country during the night. There may be light to moderate rain at a few locations in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province. Additionally, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places of Gandaki Province.

Meteorological Analysis:

The current weather conditions in Nepal are influenced by the monsoon air as well as a partial effect of Depression around Jharkhand. The Axis of Monsoon Trough is situated around the average position to the north and east, slightly deviating from the average position to the west.
