National Weather Forecast:

Today, the weather across the country is expected to be mostly cloudy with the likelihood of light to moderate rain at most places. There is a high probability of heavy to very heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in various regions. Specifically, the provinces of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudur Pashchim are likely to experience these conditions, while a few places in Madesh Province may also witness heavy rain.

As the day progresses into the night, the weather pattern is expected to remain generally to mostly cloudy throughout the nation. Similar to the daytime forecast, light to moderate rain is anticipated across most areas, with the potential for heavy to very heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in certain provinces. Notably, Sudur Pashchim Province could experience extremely heavy rainfall at one or two places.

Meteorological Analysis:

The prevailing weather conditions are influenced by the positioning of the Monsoon Trough, which is situated to the north of Nepal, near the Sardar station. Moreover, the impact of a low-pressure system, identified as a Low Pressure Area, around North-Eastern Uttar Pradesh and North-West Bihar in India, is contributing to the ongoing weather patterns.
