Today:

Partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected throughout the country. Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely to occur at some places in Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province. In the rest of the provinces, there may be light to moderate rain at a few places.

Tonight:

The night will see partly to generally cloudy skies across the country. Light to moderate rain, with thunder and lightning, is expected at a few places in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province. In the rest of the country, there may be rain at one or two places.

Meteorological Analysis:

The Meteorological Forecasting Division reports that the Monsoon Trough axis is currently located to the south of its average position. As a result, the country is experiencing the influence of monsoon winds.
