Weather Update: Light to Moderate Rain Expected in Many Regions

Today:

The weather across the country is expected to be generally to mostly cloudy. Residents can anticipate light to moderate rain in many areas of Karnali and Sudur Paschim provinces, as well as in some places of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Lumbini Province. Additionally, one or two places in Madesh Province might also experience rainfall. Moreover, there are chances of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places in Gandaki Province and Sudur Paschim Province.

Tonight:

Throughout the night, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy nationwide. In the hilly regions, residents can expect light to moderate rain in some places, while the rest of the country might experience rain at one or two locations.

These weather conditions can be attributed to the prevailing monsoon winds and the current position of the Axis of Monsoon Trough, which is currently located south of its average position. The influence of the monsoon winds is responsible for the current weather patterns we are observing.
