Weather Update: Light to Moderate Rain and Thunderstorms Expected Across the Country

Good morning! And, welcome to the weather update news. Here are the latest weather conditions for today and tonight:

Today, we can expect partly to generally cloudy skies throughout the country. There will be light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places in Madesh Province and some places in the rest of the country. Additionally, there is a chance of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Koshi Province and Bagmati Province.

Moving on to tonight's forecast, Madesh Province and Lumbini Province will experience partly to generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will see generally to mostly cloudy skies. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected at some places across the country. Furthermore, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.

These weather conditions can be attributed to the prevailing monsoon winds and the current position of the Axis of Monsoon Trough, which is located south of its average position. The influence of the monsoon winds is responsible for the current weather patterns we are observing.
