Weather Update: Cloudy Skies and Rainfall Expected Across Nepal

In today's weather update, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology's Weather Forecasting Division has reported generally cloudy conditions throughout the country. Furthermore, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is anticipated in various regions. The Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province are likely to experience rain with chances of heavy rainfall in select areas.

Moving into tonight, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy in the Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, Sudur Pashchim Province, and hilly regions of the country. The rest of the country will see partly to generally cloudy skies. Similar to the daytime forecast, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is predicted in some areas of the Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province. The Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province may also experience heavy rainfall at one or two locations.
