Residents can anticipate light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in various regions. In particular, there is a significant likelihood of heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning occurring at isolated locations within Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province.

As the day progresses into night, the cloud cover is expected to persist across the nation. Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is predicted in some areas of Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province. Additionally, residents across the rest of the country should be prepared for sporadic showers with the possibility of heavy to very heavy rain and thunder and lightning in one or two locations within Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province.

Meteorological Analysis

The current meteorological conditions are influenced by the position of the Axis of the Monsoon Trough, which is situated to the south of its average position. Furthermore, there is a partial impact from a low-pressure area located in and around North Madhya Pradesh of India, which is extending its effects into Nepal.
