The issue of "8.5% Nepal Bank Rinpatra 2087" is opening from today i.e. Baisakh 22. The issue will close on 26, 2078. If not subscribed by this date, the deadline can be extended till Jestha 05.

"8.5% Nepal Bank Rinpatra 2087" is a debenture issued by Nepal Bank Limited. As the name suggests, the issue has a coupon rate of 8.5% and will mature in the year 2087 B.S. The coupon rate is simply the annual return on investment promised to the investor.

A total of 35,00,000 units will be issued at Rs. 1,000 per unit by the completion of the issue. Of the 5% of total units reserved for mutual funds, only 15,000 units have been distributed. Thus, 13,85,000 units will be issued to the general public and the remaining 21,00,000 units will be subscribed via private placement.

Investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 3,00,000 units.
