Vijaya Laghubitta's Profit Decline by 16.24% in Q4; NPL at 4.08% with EPS of Rs 32.72

Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (VLBS) published the fourth-quarter report of FY 2078/2079 with a decline of 16.24% in Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit decreased to Rs. 10.47 crore as compared to Rs. 12.50 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The borrowings of the company increased by 6.18% to Rs. 3.08 Arba which was Rs. 2.90 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The deposits of the company increased by 14.36% to Rs 1.13 arba. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by 9.04% to 4.71 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has decreased by 1.0.35% to Rs. 34.15 crores compared to Rs. 38.09 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 32 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 22.88 crores which is an increase of 84.35% in this quarter.
The company NPL declined to 4.08% from 4.66%.
Its earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 32.72. The net worth per share is Rs. 171.53. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 28.72 times.
